I had a great time on the cruise , staff were very friendly and helpful starting from our room 10150 steward Danielle who was always there to help with a big smile no problem to big or small. he was always there could not speak more highly of him a perfect gentleman. to our waiters in the waterfront
Jerome, Alex and Fatima on table 220 who were fantastic at there job always with a big smile when we entered the restaurant, very very good at there job once again could not speak more highly of them. I really cannot speak badly of any of the staff on board.
My only disappointment was the treatment of a member of our group who was treated or lack of it after the ceiling outside her cabin 10159 collapsed hitting her on the head leaving her with a nasty bump on the back of her head and instead of treating her were more worried about filling in paperwork and who was paying for any medical treatment she would receive, spent less than half hour before being sent back to her room. not once over the next couple of days asking weather she was alright.Just found out today 22-02-2019 after an m.r.i scan that she was heavily concussed. So i think that you seriously should look at improving this department of your your ship before something like this could happen again. Thanking you Natale.
The staff/crew were rude and arrogant. They failed to resolve any issues we raised. There answer to everything was to give you a bottle of Prosecco/Asti. My partner had his arm in a sling and on more than one occasion when I held a door open for him staff pushed him aside and barged through. No

the food was ordinary and often they ran out of dishes in the buffet. You had to ask for butter both in the buffet and restaurant. There was not much variety in the food, Pizzas were awful considering it was an Italian ship. The bread was good
When ordering a beer in the buffet we were charged a variety of prices. Often there were not mugs and a number were chipped.Tables were given a cursory wipe with the same cloth used over and over again. Waiters were loath to remove dirty plates etc. and stood around chatting.
the shows were very ordinary with very little variation. If you like girls in skimpy clothes flinging their hair about then you are OK. None of the shows catered for the variety of people aboard. You had to book for some shows and this nearly caused an accident with people queuing and then surging forward. Some people sat on the steps in the theatre contrary to H&S.
the toilets frequently blocked and a number of cabins experienced some problems with this. this also occurred in the public areas.
We were charged 16 euros for a shuttle bus into Marseille only to discover there was a free shuttle 200 yds down the road
In 11 days on board they could not work out why some cabins could get English films and some could not. Instead of stating there was a problem they gave all orts of excuses.
If like us you have an evening flight there are a number of lockers you can use in Barcelona. I can recommend Bike Rental Barcelona, there is some one there all the time, don't be put off by all the bikes in what appears to be a cave in a back street (just off Ramblas) owner is lovely and speaks perfect English
Just love this ship, staff are excellent, food was divine especially Dragon Lady and entertainment was great. Moreton Island was just beautiful and snorkelling the wrecks was a real hi light. So many fish species and clear water.
Only 4 nights which wasn't enough. We loved this cruise, loved the ship and had an amazing time on the whale watching shore trip. Love the fit out of "Dora" and will definitely be back on board this beautiful ship
Absolutely loved cruising onboard the Majestic Princess, tried everything from the pool, food, entertainment, games, cocktails and spa. Couldn't have asked for a better getaway.
Well I was sure that booking in May for a november/december cruise would assure me a good cabin...never had a problem before.
So our first holiday as a couple is booked paid the premium for a balcony Queen bed room, but on cabin allocation we were assigned a quad share room that is one of only a hand full that cannot be reconfigured. 6 foot 4 inch partner in a bunk bed very romantic. only after 4 days of this horrendous sleeping arrangement and many tears did anyone onboard do anything. eventually got moved down 4 decks to an obstructed cabin thankfully with a queen bed. To say it ruined what was to be a romantic birthday cruise is an understatement but at least we know as a couple we can cope with issues and still smile. I could have saved myself many dollars and booked an obstructed view if that is what I wanted. Lesson dont think you will get what you have asked and paid for, the devil is in the fine print that allows this sort of shonky practice to go on.
Having done 20+ cruise most of which on Princess and Cunard I find Cunard the best value for money and Entertainment sure men have to wear a jacket to dinner small price to pay for great time and the best dance floors afloat closely followed by princess which also has good food and entertainment
the only cruise line I will never go on again is P&O Australia once was once too many after 8pm could only get a coffee in paper cups but no eats even though they are controlled by princess they rate no better than 2 stars compaired to other cruise lines
We went on a Food and Wine Cruise with P&O which was a lot of fun, we had tequila tastings and karaoke plus so many fun events on, the bingo was great and the shows were well above expectations! The food was pretty good, I'd definitely recommend trying out the specialty restaurants onboard, they
were easily my favourite place to dine. The P&O staff were so lovely to us, and the team at Cruise Sale Finder helped answer all our questions before we went <3
